It’s damn powderful man, can run damn fast. The battery works only when you pedal, so you must make sure you don’t crank the pedals while navigating a sharp turn. Oh you can choose to run with or without the battery. Should you decide not to, you can switch off the “engine”, just like you would do with an the ignition key of a car.

From what I know over at togoparts.com, electric bicycles like these are only allowed in parks, and they must be LTA approved before it can be used (or sold). But hell, they can accelerate so quickly! Something Fred Flinstone would be proud of.
