I wore pink flower decorated converse shoes to school today, and my girl-friends were saying:

Me: WTF? Wearing pink is gay? Cmon pink is such a cool colour lor. Look at this design, so nice and unique. Flowery somemore, I like. And my baju kurung’s gonna be pink also lor!
Them: OMG Khairul is SO gay!
Me: Gays don’t wear pink lah. idiot. But hor, I like pink leh. I’d have bought a pink PSP if I had money. Hahhaha.

Pink is not gay. It’s a very calming colour. My bf wore pink just now. Hehh.

Pink is just another colour. The reason why people think it’s for pussies is because of the influence in our soceity. Since young, parents have unintentionally taught us the meaning of blue for boys and pink for girls.
As we grow up, this mentality gets rooted within our thinking. The same happens everywhere in the world, so much so that the colour blue is naturally assumed to be a “boy colour”, and pink to be a “girl colour”.
It is fine for a guy to like pink.
