There’s an online file sharing tool that’s making a very good impression around the online community recently.
It’s similar to yousendit.com, but bigger and better! With Driveway.com, your file upload limit is 500MB instead of a measely 100MB. No registration needed!
I use yousendit.com, but I feel somehow handicapped by the 100MB limit. I mean like, if one of my photos is already like 3-5MB, that means I can only upload about 20 photos. Most of the times, my album consists of about 50 or more photos. With Driveway.com, I can finally do it all at once.
How it works
Choose file(s) to upload -> Click -> You are provided with download link(s) location -> Targetted user simply clicks and downloads file(s)
The reason I require this kind of service is because my family has close friends overseas. We do exchanges of photos often, and companies like Driveway.com provides the medium for me to do this effectively. No more file uplaod quotas! Plus for this one, I don’t need any registration! It’s click, upload, share. I like things simple. So do them.
They have a few more features like ‘multi-user capable editable links’ for collaborative sharing of office documents. I haven’t really found a need for this yet, but it might be useful when doing school projects. Aside from that, the 500MB is an offer I find hard to resist.
