Just an update.
I find it weird because when I topped up Caltex 95 full tank, the mileage actually decreased i.e.fuel consumption worsened to about 10.5-11.0km/l. I topped up Caltex 95 full tank for another 2 times just to make sure, and I confirm that mileage has deproved regardless of me and my mum's light-footed driving style!
So I've now switched to Caltex 98, and the consumption's looking good. It's currently at 11.5km/l, and the fuel gauge isn't at the half mark yet. My guess is i'll hit at least 12.0km/l when the tank gets empty.
Conclusion: The engine favours 98 and above.
If you need the link to 'Part I', it is Honda Stream 2007 Fuel Consumption.

Base on my experience not driving a Stream but wish, the FC is about the same, esp when u use 95.
But still its Dependant on the driver, whether is he/she a heavy footer kind.
To me 95/98 has little difference to it, try topping with V-power. then u will see alot of change.
Here is 1 tip i learn from a fren who is a mechanic in Nissan, once a month, fill up ur tank with Shell V-power. This petrol actually cleans up blockages on ur Fuel injection area. So it will be a smooth ride.
It works for my car… Take care.
