When it comes to buying gifts for guys, girls always get it wrong! Yeah, you heard me. When will girls ever learn that we guys need useful/practical/techie things in our life?
- Yes we do need clothes, but please don't get me those dumb tee shirts everytime. I have some, I don't need alot.
- Please don't give me plushies or teddy bears. They're not useful. I don't want my friends to think i'm a sissy.
- Stay away from 'Happy Anniversary' cups/mugs or those sorts. What's the point?
- NOT flowers! Where am I gonna keep it? I don't have space for it anyway.
- No cards, they're cheap. Hey, we want to be pampered too. Want to be thoughtful? Get us something of more value.
So what DO you get for guys? Still thinking about gifts for him? Well here're some ideas:
- An Xbox 360 or Sony PS3.
- If the first option is too expensive, I'll make do with a PSP.
- How about branded underwears? I need to use them everday. That's something useful, right? Branded cos it'll make you seem thoughtful.
- A bike rack, so that my balcony won't be a mess. Actually, so that mom will stop complaining.
- A much wanted iPhone.
- Watches. Not from those pasar malam or push carts. How about a Seiko, Rado or TagHeur?
- Guys are handy dandy. Get me a workbench!
- We don't want a hug or a kiss. We can get those anytime from you.
- Anything that's not Made In China.
- Condoms. We're too shy to get it ourselves. Even Sheng Siong is nerve wrecking.
- If all else fails, just give us money. We really don't mind.
I hope this post has enlightened you on this issue. I sincerely HOPE that things like these don't happen again. Girls, do make the right choices. Don't disappoint your guy!

i still do wonder though why guys hated buying condoms for themselves when it is for their own good. haha! and oh, the reason why girls get it wrong all the time is not because we don’t know what to get you (yes, we do know you guys like practical stuff. we read magazines you know) it’s cause guys often require practical stuff that’s a little bit more expensive than our budget. look at your list (ok, minus the condom).
See what i mean? that’s why we girls on a budget buy you guys dumb tee shirt cause it looks cool on you.
and anyways, it’s the thought that counts right? (hehe! kene balik nampak!)

That’s why I said if you wanna be more thoughtful, get something of more value, something that’s expensive. Now that’s thoughtful, because dumb tees just don’t cut it.
