Ever since the start of the Ramadhan fasting month, my body has been getting heaty and I've been developing ulcers in my mouth. Ouch! It can't be helped, no matter how much water I drink to cool down my body. Plus, I can only drink so much, man.

I remember someone telling me to consume 'Chrysanthemum Tea'. Supposedly, it cools down your body temperature. Oh well, no harm trying. My mum bought those '"instant" kinds, in packets, and all one has to do is pour in water. So yeah, I made a cup with cold water, and dumped in a few ice cubes along with it.

*SIPS* AAaaahhhh, shooo nicee…mmmm…I had a cup each day for the next few days and I'm glad that my ulcers are healing! One of them has healed, and the other's in the process. Miracle tea? Nahh.

Chrysanthemum tea is prescribed in Chinese medicine for influenza, and it has a cooling effect on the body, so it is used for treating heatstroke. It also detoxifies the blood; helps with sinus congestion, high blood pressure, and can also calm the nerves. It can also be used to sharpen vision and hearing, and clear the brain.

Anyone needs a cool off?
