I was chatting with my friend Deen, about the internet, about blogs, SEO stuff, onine oportunities and all….and then girls.
Well girl topics are usual ah (for guys). But I don't know how we got to the conclusion that girls who dress sexily are giving the wrong impression to their male counterparts, that they're slutty and cheap.
Deen was saying that the word SEXY comes from the root word SEX. Sex means fornicating. And being SEXY would imply that you want-to-be-fornicating…errr….fornicated… -_-
His argument was so convincing, I didn't know what got into me and I added in "Yah that's true man. There are other ways to be pretty." Think about it, it's true in a certain sense.
And let's say you're somewhere in Geylang, dressed sexily and revealing much skin, on your way to grab your usual late night supper, and you get approached by this man who goes…. "How much?"
DON'T GET MAD man! Don't say "What you think i'm a prostitute issit? knn f*** off you pervert"
I mean, you can't possibily blame the guy what. You're dressed for the wrong occasion, and then kpkb when people perceive you as a whore.
Or when you go clubbing and guys start hitting on you because you look sexy. YES we MEN are weird. We are smart, but when we see SEXY, we go dumb and go HORNY. So even if you're fugly, but dress sexily, there'll still be someone who'll hit on you.
Guys who club (often) only have one thing on their mind…that is to get laid (I don't care what you people think, because IMO there are so much things to do in this world other than waste time and resources going clubbing…like blogging! HAH). Trust me, alot of guys say "Cover the face, bomb the base."
So when someone offers to buy you a drink in a club, it's not because they want to make friends with you. It's because they wanna get you drunk, and eventually get in your pants. A worthy exchange for all those booze you're gonna down.
Hard to swallow, but it's a fact.
On a sidenote, it's okay if you dress like that on extra special occasions like Halloween. That one I don't care, I mean who doesn't dress like an idiot then? So you like to dress up in sexy costumes? It doesn't have to be just for Halloween. You can find the best adult costumes at CostumeSuperCenter.com. Yeah but this doesn't mean you shoud find the most outrageous costume out there!

dress sexy doesnt really mean wanna get f*cked what! got it thn show it lah. that’s how i feel. of course, there’s a thin line between sexy and slutty (it’s different!!) and some girls really do tend to overdo ’sexy’ until they cross over onto the evil side of ’slutty’.
but i agree that dressing sexy at the wrong place would be suicidal. like geylang. haha. why do girls dress so sexy to go eat supper at geylang huh? wanna blend in is it? hahahahahaa…
about guys buying drinks for girls in clubs for the one reason (to get laid)… well.. yeah. and some girls happily believe that they can just accept a lot of drinks and not be expected to do anything. naive!

But I agree with you. It’s a very thin line, a line based more towards a guy’s judgement i.e.. how he perceives a girl as. Because it doesn’t matter what you think, but if a guy calls you a slut, there’s no point getting all mad about it because his opinion is pretty fixed. Unfair, but that’s life I guess.

Anyway, I still stand on my argument. If a girl shows more skin, and some guy fantasizes, you can’t blame them.
What do girls mean by, “If you got it, show it then.” Then get pissed and complain to a nearby security/police/’cute guy’ when “banglas” ogle at you? Now that is so messed up.
