Okay enough about the pathetic Nuffnang issue :) Time to talk about something else…something random. Uncle Sam invoked some thoughts in my mind regarding NeWater.

Actually what is NeWater for ah? I mean like what's the purpose of introducing it in Singapore? Because we need to forecast future demand, therefore we should start conserving water, that we have no resources hence we should find ways to harness ways to process water, or we should recycle water? I think we can have a gazillion reasons BUT….

If NeWater is meant to recycle and conserve water, how come water prices are increasing? Look at it in these simple terms ah.

I guarantee you, it'll continue to keep on increasing, and it'll increase to an amount such that the price of water we're paying won't justify the cost of processing of the NeWater (or is it the other way round?). Argh but you get the drift… 

Our water supplies now are all NeWater-ed, but water prices still increasing. If it's so expensive, might as well buy from Malaysia what, cheaper what. Don't use the pretext of "conserving" or "future outlook" as an excuse to charge more for that treated water, that might just come from the water I just flushed down the toilet bowl, along with my urine and loose stools.
