Feeling blue on a New Year’s Day?

It's finally New Year, a fresh start in the calendar year 2008. I didn't go for the media-hyped countdown, instead i countdowned somewhere else (in a house). But it was equally fine, I guess countdowns are the same every damn year. The only difference is the people you spend your time with.

I feel sad during the countdown phase. I mean you say "5…4…3..2…1…HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008!"…by right people should be happy, but I don't! I feel melancholic. I look back on 2007 and all the great and bad things that happened (obviously more bad things…lol) it just makes me sad la, like wanna cry like that (i'm such a pussy man!). You cannot get back those times, but they only form memories.

That's why it's important to snap photos whenever you can to preserve those memories. Don't care if your friends don't want their photos taken (that's bullshit. They actually want, but are playing hard to get. Cmon, Hollywood stars don't complain, why should you?), just go for the snap. Try to take smiling group photos, because looking at them later on soothes your soul.

If you're the passive/introvert/loser type, get your ass moving right now and put in some effort. Attempt to create memories and preserve them. Brains can go, but at least pictures won't go even after your brain malfunctions.

I apologise if I haven't wished anyone a Happy New Year 2008 yet (even though I've received a few new year greetigns via sms), I'd like to take the opportunity now to wish everyone a great 2008 ahead of us! We must take the effort to meet up and catch up on stuffs hor!
