Graduation day was cool. Met up with the schoolmates, asking everyone where they’re working and about their experiences. Sadly, I couldn’t stay long to wait for the EEE peeps.

My life has been very good so far! :) I got a good paying job at a good semiconductor company in AMK, and on most days I go back with gf from work! Oh and we’re 13 months old :) I love you! (She said that!)

I feel God is fair, and there’s a reason Him setting me on this path.  I’m contented, and I’m doing well! I must’ve been good to people all the while…good karma perhaps? lol.

My Italian boss is so cool! He plays the bass guitar and is in a band! He looks similar to Bo Bice!

The rest of my colleagues are Indians and Singaporeans. Very nice bunch of people, friendly and helpful.

I just got my first FAT paycheck as compared to my measly tuition pay while I was teaching. Spend it all? No lah, uncle’s friend gave me some oversized shirts so I’m gonna send them for alteration.

Sorry ah I seldom update. Been busy. I feel the era of personal blogs are coming to an end. Now’s the era of mobile social networking!

My sisters dashed into my room and frantically woke me up, saying got Bangla doorbell. I reluctantly opened my eyes, feeling agitated. I said in a foul mood, “You all cannot open the door yourselves ah? Look through the keyhole and open up lah! Scared what, the gate’s locked what!”

Sisters: Noooo cannot! You must open, we’re scared and dunno what to do.

Me: Just open the bloody door lah, I want to sleep. What the hell, I just finished night shift leh! I don’t care, you all answer it!

Sisters: Exited my room.

I again, reluctantly pulled myself out of the bed, half-naked. Sexy ah! I went to the door where they were peering through the eyehole. I looked through it, and saw a woman.

Me: It’s just a woman lah! Open the door go! *went back into my room*

I guess my sisters opened the door because the doorbell rings stopped. I went out again and I saw gf holding a cake, with the candles all lit on, all smiles.

Me (Silently): Oh fuck! Omg it’s a surprise for me lah, alamak so sweet ah. Knn what the fuck am I wearing now! Damn must go wash face first!

Well, gf got disappointed because immediately after exiting the toilet, I went straight to my  bedroom to wear a tee. She said I rolled my eyes at her, and that I looked pissed.

But honestly, in my heart, I felt like “Awwwww!” Got feel guilty also lah cos scold my sisters, cos they couldn’t do a simple thing like opening the door. When I got out into the living room, I was okay. Felt touched sia! Haha. Rasa terharu! Alahai.

The cake was HUGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEE.

Oh and I got a present leh, together with a birthday card from gf. How sweet is that man, handmade card leh. Lots of love was put into it. Most people nowdays just wish you on FaceBook or SMS. Yes you know who you are, you super-insincere PEOPLE!

Anyway the surprise was the best surprise ever, really caught me off guard man. I felt really sorry for scolding my sisters, and felt apologetical that gf thought I was angry at her.

No lahhh, you did so much for me already. No capacity to be angry at you :) ily!

I hope my readers won’t puke okay by the previous statement. I’m not overdoing it right? When I read some blogs, it’s like so fucking gross. Everytime put camwhoring pics of them with boyfriends, like hollywood star eat here there, declare their love excessively & publicly, pictures of hugging and kissing, wear clothes until boobs pouring/portruding out, show cleavage blah blah.

Wah lao I fucking cannot take it man. It’s fucking disgusting! Please fucking make your blog private sia. I don’t go your blog one. I happen to see them when close friends/family/relatives visit them. I never fail to get fucking disgusted.

Somemore the couple can comment and vomit out more words of affection for people to see. Fuck sia! Nabei gross man. This one serious relationship or just play-play wan? I thought such words are only for that special person’s EARS.

You want to be special meh in the eyes of other people instead of your loved one? You mean you’re that insecure, you have to show others that you’re both truly in love? Or you want to prove to people you got moolah, living the bloodywood life?

My FYP hardware has finally been resolved! Now I can see my EEG brain waves on the computer screen!

Most importantly, this post is about a present I got from my wonderful gf:

Yes people! A PULL UP BAR! HAHAHAHAHAHA.

I met gf, her mum and younger sister at Jurong Point. I just wanted to meet her mum, so when I reached JP, I phoned gf to query on her location, so that I could go meet them.

She didn’t want me to meet them, she said I should stay put and wait for them. I got frustrated, “Why the hell I can’t go find you guys, I’m here already what!”

So I insisted I’d go meet them, I’d scour the whole damn place if I had to. GF finally met me, and then we went to find her mum and sis….We spotted them and this was where I got the shock of my life.

“Nah, a present for you..”

Khairul looks at the thing. Pauses for a moment. And then, “Oh my god! What is this? Hahahaha you bought for me pull-up bar ah? Hahahah I can’t believe this, oh my god!”

It was so funny. I really didn’t know what to say, I wanted to thank her but, I felt like laughing. It’s sincerely sweet, but the idea of being given a pull-up bar is so cute I couldn’t stop laughing!

“I know you’ve always wanted a pull-up bar, I know you’ve been eyeing it for very long, so I bought for you…”

Awww.

Well, I installed it just yesterday. Took a whole lot of drilling and debris. Ended up vacuuming and mopping the whole house. Felt like Cinderella in tattered briefs, I treated myself to McCafe’s Double Chocolate (It’s cheap and I’m a cheapo) at night.

Well, I’ve been crazy with my pullups, and my palms are blistered. Wear glove also pain, don’t wear also pain. I think I should take a break for a day or two.

What’s cheap and still allows you to spend time with your loved one?

We both really enjoyed the time spent together. Yeah, our first cake! Lucky for me, nothing got burnt this time. We made 3 pieces, one for her family, one for mine and another for my cousins.

On a sidenote:

Women are generally simple to please. You don’t need to shower them with fancy stuffs, bring them to expensive restaurants, or what nots. You don’t need to put up a treasure hunt for her birthday party, or take her to famous tourist attractions, or write a diary for her. Sure it’s gonna be real sweet to do so, even though you’ve pulled the same stunt on an ex-girlfriend.

Show them pure honesty. Small, sincere gestures might sound wussy-licious but pile a few of them together, and they will make quite a mountain.

The challenge however is how to be consistent. That depends on the woman.
