Graduation day was cool. Met up with the schoolmates, asking everyone where they’re working and about their experiences. Sadly, I couldn’t stay long to wait for the EEE peeps.

My life has been very good so far! :) I got a good paying job at a good semiconductor company in AMK, and on most days I go back with gf from work! Oh and we’re 13 months old :) I love you! (She said that!)

I feel God is fair, and there’s a reason Him setting me on this path.  I’m contented, and I’m doing well! I must’ve been good to people all the while…good karma perhaps? lol.

My Italian boss is so cool! He plays the bass guitar and is in a band! He looks similar to Bo Bice!

The rest of my colleagues are Indians and Singaporeans. Very nice bunch of people, friendly and helpful.

I just got my first FAT paycheck as compared to my measly tuition pay while I was teaching. Spend it all? No lah, uncle’s friend gave me some oversized shirts so I’m gonna send them for alteration.

Sorry ah I seldom update. Been busy. I feel the era of personal blogs are coming to an end. Now’s the era of mobile social networking!

I felt that this module is one of the worst modules I’ve taken in my 4 years of NUS. I feel that the content is unoriginal; they’re all excerpts taken elsewhere and put nicely into a story. It’s just like buying electronic parts from Samsung or Hitachi, assembling them together and then calling it your own brand.

The second thing is that IMHO, this module doesn’t even make the mark for being a SIngapore Studies (SS) module. Some of the reading articles take a loser stand; Image this…It is unfair to say that Malays are lazy (from British historical documentation) because before the British, everything else was undocumented (presence of a historical gap). Probably, the indigenous Malays could have very well built and sustained Singapore (fishing activities, trade etc.) to what it was, way before the British ever contributed their part.

Let’s not talk about probably, or the could haves. It’s afterall a HISTORICAL GAP, undocumented and void.

Towards the last chapters of the module, we talk about the issues of Malay-ness and the disparities among the Malays themselves. In my opinion, this is simply another portrayal in itself; that even between ourselves, we still have a need to differentiate ourselves, that we’re COCKED UP.

Anyways, I do not care about whatever perceptions people have about Malays, or whatever potrayals there might be about Malays in census reports, newspapers, television etc. From my perspective, if people think there’s something inadequate with you, PROVE THEM WRONG. That’s the best way to shut their yakkety-yak, gaping mouths up.

Okay enough already, the main purpose of this blogpost is to say that I will be away in Bali over the next 4 days. I will definitely be back with alot of pictures, so just wait till my return.

Baby, sorry to leave you again! I promise I’ll be back soon kay? I’ll call you while I’m there. Will miss you.

Talk about camwhoring, I told my sister to stop camwhoring excessively (I don’t want her to take after someone I know). I don’t know man, it gives me the impression that the camwhorer is shallow, bimbotic and trying to overly act cute.

YES I KNOW WHEN YOU’RE ACTING CUTE, AND WHEN YOU’RE BEING YOURSELF.

There’s more to life than camwhoring yourself. Go out and stop taking pictures of yourself, excessive camwhorers!

It's been a tough week of mugging and exams. Tomorrow's my last paper: Economics.

Well, it's reading week now, which means a week for mugging. But I've got an exam on this coming Thursday :( Fark man, and I'm nowhere.

But whatever lah, I'll just try my best to study as much as I can. But first, I need a real wel deserved one day break at least man. Just one day to make me sane again.

Oh and I got rejected by Qala for the internship. :( I really wanted to do that. But it's okay. Qala is a subsidiary of Creative, and Creative sucks. My dad says the way things are run there is bloody cock up. According to him, it's a terrible organisation.

Weird thing is one of the interviewees I talked to told me that his dad said the same thing too! LOL. I have my own bad personal experiences with Creative as a consumer, and I'll tell you this…I only buy their computer speakers and that's it. No more MP3 players or shiat. Their stuffs seems to break down ath the EXACT moment when the warranty expires. Planned maybe?

I was at ECP Mac throughout the whole of last night completing the last project, and I saw Nazsyima! OMG she is such a sweetheart lah :) She was there to mug too. At first when we saw each other, she stared right at me. I was shocked lah, and it hit me…"Eh, that's that's….that's the NUS girl blogger in my list kan..Alamak, what's her name ah, I recognise her!"

But then I diam diam ah, but upon closer scrutiny…I confirmed it was her! Alamak this girl really looks like SOMEONE I know la…We smiled and waved at each other to acknowledge we recognised each other. Lol.

She went off earlier, and I was thinking like "Alah…nak balik already? So fast?" Being the sweetheart she is, she came to my table to say goodbye before going off. Awwwwww. Nice meeting you Nazsyima! Why did we have to bump at ECP Mac and not in school?!?!? 

Fahmee, our Satay Man, joined us for an ice cream!

Oh and after the project, my mates and me wanted to SPY on couples making out in secluded carparks. We didn't go the Fort Road one, that one alot of bapoks. So we proceeded down towards the other end.

We spotted this couple making out outside their car. Nothing RA, just the kissing and SL (Siapa nak sop lidah! yum yum, aku tengah lapar ni.) But when I drove past them and dimmed my headlights, they got in the car and followed me into the SECLUDED carpark, parked one corner, and laid down their seats!

Wow, gonna have action man. I made a few rounds round that carpark to see if we could get lucky. We did, somehow :) Now that's for us to know, and for you people never to know. LOL. Next time, follow me! Muuuwahahahahha. 

I guess our mugging efforts paid off, somehow. 

I am so blardy effing relieved this nightmare is over. As of now, I am 3 days behind of sleep. If each day I get about 8 hours of sleep…This would mean that I'm missing 8 x 3 = 24hours of sleep. Now that's 1 whole day of sleeping that I have to catch up to! :P

This was what made us miss MORE than 24 hours of sleep (Yes, it's much more than that. To be precise, one semester, which equals about 4 months. Do the math :D ).

Of course there are more pictures taken by my friend, Firdaus, as well as by the lab technicians as well. Our lab technicians was busy snapping photos with a Canon DSLR dunno which model, and at the same time shoot a video of our presentation too.

Si bei onz man. But sadly I don't have the final picture of our demo. Sad sad…I should get Firdaus to send it to me!

Now that hell is over, I gotta look forward to exams. My first paper starts next week (Thursday I think), and I'm nowhere! :)

University life is like women. You can't live with em, and you can't live without em either.

I hope I get that Qala internship man. Then boleh pergi makan lunch sama-sama kan?
