“Oh you’re such a wonderful couple. He’s such a good guy, treasure him”

“XXX is the guy for you. He’s so sweet to do that. How I wish my partner would do that”

“OMG your gf is so pretty and hot. You must be one lucky dude”

“You have such an understanding bf. Plus he is caring too. He is like the dream bf.”

and so on.

And then when something bad happens, you relate about it (of course, you tweak the story) on your blog. Consequently, you notice that blog commenters suddenly morph into something else…

“Oh don’t worry about him. Guys are all jerks. They don’t know how to treasure a girl like you.”

“Get well soon my dear. Forget about that incident because that guy is just superficial. There are better guys around”

“How could he say that? Why is he so egostic? How could he treat you like that, he is such a fucking bastard”

and whatever.

See the difference? Blog commenters are hypocrites (Except for those who comment on mine. lol). Blog commenters say all the nice things that you WANT to hear, and keep the terrible things they WANT to say.

Well, not exactly all of them. There are definitely of course, more brutal people around.

But you see, brutal comments are those that shake you to reality. They are the more useful ones. So tell me, how do you get better if you, as a blog reader, moderate those constructive, life-changing comments?

Life is not a fairytale, as much as you want it to be. Why not listen to what people have to say? Sometimes, outsiders can spot the crux of the problem better than you do, because they’re not immersed in the rut you’re in.

Moral of the story: Be honest. 

So yeah, if there’s something you’re unhappy with, just say it!

“Khairul, your’re fugly and your singing sucks. You croak like some dying toad.”
